Bakrid in the year 2016 is to be celebrated World wide on 13th September 2016, Tuesday which is the Muslim festival.

In India also Bakrid festival will be celebrated on 13th September 2016 across all the states which will be national holiday for Schools, Colleges, Banks, Government sector and some private sector.

Id-ul-Azha is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Muslim People across the world which is celebrated as a Festival of Sacrifice by Muslims usually falls on the 10th of Dhul-Hagg on the last month of the lunar year.

The celebration of Bakrid festival includes gatherings of family and friends with special meals, lunches and late breakfasts.

For the Bakrid festival the celebration also includes wearing of new and best clean clothes, sharing of gifts, money and also helps the poor by giving foods, money, meat and dresses.

In some places the Bakrid festival celebration planned on 12th September 2016, Monday with special prayers at mosque.
