Is Bank Holidays For 5 Days Continuously From 29th March to 2nd April 2018 – No From Officials:

There are news spreading that about 5 continuous holidays had been announced for all the Banks of India starting from 29th March 2018 to 2nd April 2018.

But the news remains to be an fake news and as per the holidays list coming 29th March 2018 will be holiday due to Mahaveer Jayanti and 30th March 2018 the Bank will be remained closed for Good Friday holiday.

There is no leave on 31st March 2018, Saturday and it will be fully working day for all the Banks across all the states of India.

1st April 2018 comes on Sunday which will be a holiday as usual and 2nd April 2018 will be annual closing of accounts where the Banks will be remained opened but no cash transaction will be done.

All India Bank Officers Confederation General Secretary Thomas Franco Rajendra Dev had reported that On 31st March 2018, Saturday the Bank will not be remained closed and there is no continuous holidays as per the fake news spread in the social media.

29th March 2018, Thursday – Mahavir Jayanti
30th March 2018, Friday – Good Friday
31st March 2018, Saturday – Annual closing of Accounts of Commercial and Co-operative Banks/Birthday of Mohammad Hajarat Ali
2nd April 2018, Monday – Annual closing of Accounts of Commercial and Co-operative Banks
