Karnataka Holidays 2018 Highlights

The Karnataka State Cabinet has announced the list of holidays for the calendar year 2018. The workers of the State govt. have about twenty-three public holidays as compared to the previous year with only twenty-two holidays. In the year 2018, the government employees are entitled with eighty-seven holidays in total that breaks into 23 public holidays, 52 Sundays & 12 second Saturdays.

Muslims of Islam can apply for restricted holidays on their lunar festivals. The government staff can apply for two restricted holidays and seventeen days are authenticated for this. The government employees altogether has about 118 days of holidays.
